End of the Year Bulletin Board and Activities for the Elementary Classroom

End of the Year Bulletin Board and Activities

The countdown is on! As crazy as it sounds, there are only a few days left of the school year! Now is the perfect time to plan special activities to wrap up the year. Students and teachers can celebrate summer break approaching by creating special memories. Incorporating end-of-the-year elementary activities will make this a year students will always remember.

End of the Year Bulletin Board

End of the Year Bulletin Board

Students will love to look back on all they did during this school year. Luckily, a bulletin board is a perfect way to showcase the fantastic time students had. Best of all, this resource includes tons of designs, such as watercolor and boho rainbow, to fit all classrooms. Additionally, there are tons of coloring pages for students to decorate and hang up. They will love to see their work hung up one last time before heading into summer vacation.

This resource will also be helpful as teachers begin planning for the next school year! With all of the designs, it can encourage a fresh layout. Furthermore, it includes tons of helpful resources, such as teacher information cards and parent-teacher conference sheets. There are so many resources to ensure the next year goes smoothly.

End of the Year Classroom Awards

Students love awards! Since they worked so hard all year long, they deserve recognition. Thankfully, this resource provides 32 unique designs. This means that each student will receive individual awards, such as STEM Star and Fantastic Friend. Students can color in their awards to add an exciting element! There is even an applause sound effect to play after each student receives their award. This resource ensures that students celebrate their strengths!

End of the Year Party Ideas

Planning for the end of the year is challenging! Therefore, adding a few fun, festive days help control behavior and ensure students are still enjoying school. For instance, students can have a talent show to showcase their interests or a game day. Or, they can have an ice cream party with a movie. If students like to be more active, they can even have a kickball tournament or soccer game. Teachers can turn anything exciting into a fun party for students!

End of the Year Elementary Activities + STEM!

Keeping elementary students engaged can be incredibly stressful! They are ready for a break, so their behavior can become wild. Thus, activities must be enjoyable at the end of the year. One of my favorite ways involves end-of-the-year STEM challenges. For instance, mini-golf, building a mini trampoline, and designing a balloon car are all student favorites! Best of all, STEM activities allow students to collaborate and interact. Thankfully, this ensures students remain focused while still getting to work with friends.

End of the Year Student Gifts

Teachers are on a limited budget. However, they still love to provide students with something meaningful as they enter summer break. Luckily, there are plenty of affordable options for teachers to pick from. This may be a pair of sunglasses, bubbles, or chalk. With the End of the Year Gift Tag FREEBIE, gifts will look extra special!

The end of the year is a beautiful yet sad time of the year. Teachers and students develop incredible relationships only to say goodbye for several months. Additionally, teachers will not have that same group of students in class again. Hence, the end of the year bulletin board and activity ideas for the elementary classroom is essential.  The end of the year can also be a chaotic time in the classroom. You may try incorporating a few lesson ideas that will help balance the chaos. With a few added elements, students will never forget the incredible year!
