Using Digital Daily Agendas to Create Better Classroom Routines

Digital Daily Agendas

Teachers, today I want to share a game-changing classroom management tool with you:
Digital Daily Agendas!  Using this strategy is so simple, but has such a huge impact on helping your class run smoothly. If you’re not sure whether these agendas are right for you, here are 4 ways that they can help you build better classroom routines!

1. Convenient, easy-to-reference, and engaging for students

Establishing consistent classroom routines is arguably the most important classroom management tool available to you! If students know what to expect every day, they will have an easier time transitioning between activities.

Young students especially will feel safer and more at ease if they know what’s coming next, and your classroom will become a more peaceful environment. Digital daily agendas are a visually engaging way to make sure that your students understand the classroom routine.

2. Keeping your plan close saves you time and energy!

If you only use a personal teacher planner, you’ll usually have to return to your desk or computer every time you want to refer to what comes next in your day.

But if you’re projecting a digital daily agenda at the front of the class, it’s easy to glance at the basics of your plan whenever you need to. This will help you save time and energy throughout the day so you can focus on helping your students and being the best teacher you can be.

3. Digital daily agendas are flexible.

The beauty of using digital daily agendas over, say, writing everything on the whiteboard each morning or re-typing everything in your digital classroom’s announcements each day is that you can re-use the same template over and over. If many of your classroom routines are the same every day, for example, you don’t have to write out those activities multiple times. You can simply copy-paste!  They can also be modified quickly, and whenever you want. If you need to make last-minute changes to your plan, you can do so easily.

A solid digital option for displaying your agenda is also a MUST if you’re teaching remotely again this year. You might know that you’ll be teaching online for a while, or you may not be quite sure when you might jump back and forth between in-person, hybrid, and remote learning. Keeping all of your agendas digitally will give you the flexibility to adapt to any situation.

4. Digital daily agendas can be beautiful too!

I hope you’re convinced by now of how functional digital daily agendas can be! But maybe my favorite thing about them is that they can be beautiful! Simply writing on the whiteboard could never look as good!
My agendas are pre-made with beautiful and fun designs. All you need to do is type out your plan. It will take you just seconds to fill in your classroom routines, and your beautiful daily agenda will be ready to use!
